Hudgram is a custom messaging application built using the official Telegram API and MTProto protocol. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and process your data when you use the Hudgram application.
1. Data Processing and Telegram API
Hudgram is a client application based on the open-source Telegram for Android project. All core messaging data (including chats, groups, channels, media, and contacts) is securely transmitted, processed, and stored directly on Telegram's official cloud servers. We do NOT host or run our own messaging servers.
2. Core Framework & Telegram Open-Source Policy
Hudgram is built on the official open-source Telegram core, utilizing the Telegram API and MTProto protocol. As a custom client, the application acts as an interface to the Telegram platform. All messaging, media, and account data are processed directly through official Telegram servers, ensuring full alignment with Telegram's open-source architecture and privacy standards.
3. Location Data (Crucial Disclosure)
Hudgram accesses location data to enable features such as Live Location sharing and the People Nearby feature. This access is governed by strict consent, usage, and protection guidelines.
4. Information We Collect and Process
To provide messaging services, the following data is processed: Account Information, Contacts, User-Generated Content, and Device Identifiers.
5. Data Encryption and Security
All communications and data transfers in Hudgram are encrypted in transit using Telegram's proprietary MTProto security protocol and standard TLS encryption.
6. Data Deletion and Retention
You have full control over your data. You can delete your messages, media, or your entire account at any time. Once deleted, your data is permanently removed from Telegram's servers.
7. Children's Privacy
Our services are not intended for individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page.
9. Important Privacy Policy Updates (Google Play Compliance)
1. Data Deletion & Account Erasure
Since Hudgram utilizes the official Telegram API, your account is legally a Telegram account. You can delete your messages or terminate your account directly from within the app at any time. Additionally, you can permanently request account deletion through the official Telegram deactivation portal here: Telegram Account Deactivation Link.
2. Third-Party Services & Analytics
We may use Google Play Services and Firebase services (such as Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications, and Crashlytics for bug and crash reporting to ensure app stability). These services may collect device identifiers solely to improve technical performance. No personal messaging data or private information is ever shared with these services.
3. Privacy of Custom Features
All additional custom features provided by Hudgram (e.g., local UI adjustments, 3D effects, or local automation and auto-reply tools) process and store data strictly locally on your device (On-Device). We do not operate or maintain any external servers or databases to collect your personal preferences or custom app configurations.
4. Location Permissions
When using location-based features such as "People Nearby" or "Live Location", the app requests and accesses location data only while the app is actively open and in use (Foreground) and based on your explicit action. The app does not track, collect, or monitor your location data in the background without your knowledge.
5. Device or Other IDs
We may collect specific device identifiers (such as Android ID, advertising ID, or IP address) strictly for the purposes of app functionality, analytics, fraud prevention, and security. This helps us ensure the app works smoothly on your device and allows us to improve our services.
